INTERNATIONAL UFO DIALOGUE

Witness Testimony Oath:

"I DO HEREBY AFFIRM, I WILL TELL THE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH TO THIS COMMITTEE TODAY."

Today we had the pleasure of DARLENE HOOLEY CHAIRing over THE CITIZEN HEARING. There were a few technical issues with the live feed and the translation feature, but it was soon resolved and the rest of day went very well.  In my written notes I had written the word "WOW!" at the end of the morning session, and was eager to share some of what I'd heard.  So with that in mind, I want to jump right into A.J. GEVAERD's statement, who traveled all the way from Brazil!:

"...Thank you...really anxious to see the result of this...South America has by far the most agencies to investigate the UFO Phenomena..Just two weeks ago, we had a meeting...researchers...army personnel...gov't officials...to deal with this...April 18, 2013...It was given to us..promised...we will have a clear...more papers and documents will be disclosed...released...in 1954, in RIO DE JANEIRO ...declared...UFO is very serious...and needs to be investigated...'OPERATION SAUCER', 1977 September to December 1977...official purpose...to try and document...6hrs of video, actually film...sometimes at close range...try and establish contact...I'm glad to bring...440 pages, which is...20%...official documents from Brazil...related to the incident in the Amazon."

Next, representing CHILE was ANTONIO HUNEEUS, who gave his expert testimony:

"...UFO Agencies...have been officially under the Air Force...it's committee, C.E.F.A.A. (COMMITTEE for the STUDY of AERIAL ANOMALOUS PHENOMENA), ...it's like the F.A.A. (FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION) had a appointed UFO Department...have scientists, astronomers...physicist...geographer and two psychologists...meteorologists...audio visual...rep of each branch of military...and local police...operate in open and transparent manner...open and freely...PELICAN CASE...2010...Three airplanes witness the same phenomena...camouflaged object...looked like a cloud. But! with erratic motion...the United States likes to think it's always ahead, but that is not the case with this phenomenology..."

I'm sad to say, I wasn't able to catch the entire testimonies of COL. ARIEL SANCHEZ  , DR. ANTHONY CHOY , and COL. OSCAR SANTA-MARIA due to the technical difficulties experienced in the morning.  So in my idleness, I took a closer look at the audience and noticed a blond woman wearing dark sunglasses, seated next DR. ROGER LEIR.  Given the topic at hand, it wasn't a stretch for me to wonder, was she attempting to disguise herself?  Anyway, that was enough conspiratorial play time for me, as the translator function started to work.  And boy, was I happy it did!

ALEJANDRO CHIONETTI from ARGENTINA was the last to share his testimony:

"...the 70's were particularly busy times...UFOs on the Landing Strip...C.E.F.A (COMMISSION for the STUDY of AEROSPACE PHENOMENA) ...they have investigation brigades...2011 where a glowing ball fell from the sky...this case is left unsolved...great destruction...one person was killed in this case...it's worth the sacrifice and energy...so that Scientists in the future can shed the light in...I have spent the past 36 years investigating this phenomena...could in fact be extraterrestrial...they let people read between the line.  Thank you very much."

Interestingly, A. J. GEVAERD asked permission for a former Congress Member from BRAZIL, seated to his left, the opportunity to address the Panel before he presented his own testimony.  This man's closing remark:

"...Congratulations!  We are working towards the interest of the people of the Earth versus the interest of a particular person."

I did not catch his name, but it was expressed that he, too, "...wants to do something like this (CITIZEN HEARING) inside the house...".

THE ROSWELL CRASH, INVESTIGATED

Witness Testimony Oath:

"I DO HEREBY AFFIRM, I WILL TELL THE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH TO THIS COMMITTEE TODAY."

I got the distinct impression that LT. COL. RICHARD FRENCH will not be giving out too many more public statements as he looked quite frail. It is paramount that his testimony be archived for future reference.  You will discover he is no stranger to the Roswell account:

"...I learned of an accident...in the direction of WHITE SANDS...a fighter air craft...no idea what it was, the aircraft took off at a high speed and shot off a rocket...afterwards, I was asked to review what was picked up at the craft side...markings appeared to be Arabic, some unknown...casualties transported to WRIGHT PATTERSON...I have quite an experience of seeing UFOs...originally O.S.I., very common at GULF BREEZE...see them come in and land...swamp gas...of course it was a lie, we were encouraged to lie..."

MERRIL COOK was intrigued by LT. COL. RICHARD FRENCH's testimony and asked several questions:

"...this is...highly significant...exactly what you are saying...I commend you for all your service...When did you learn about the accident?..."

LT. COL. RICHARD FRENCH replies, "In a matter of hours."
MERRIL COOK:  "...That's significant...unknown humanoids, did you see them?"
LT. COL. RICHARD FRENCH: "No, I was told."
MERRIL COOK: "How did you hear of the humanoid?"
LT. COL. RICHARD FRENCH:  "People that were there...Enlisted People...various people that were standing on the ramp.  A nurse that was in uniform at the time...she would have known...very closed...later on, I had a very close friend who was a full Colonel...'yes, that's where the parts went'..."


STANTON FRIEDMAN discussing the cover-up:

"...balloons train...they don't match...the fact that they staged the event...they went to a lot of trouble to cover it up...a failure of the press to ask even the basic questions...they got away with it...the press is still not getting it...it really bugs me!"

CAROLYN KILPATRICK challenges DONALD R. SCHMITT, "...give me four sound, scientific reasons why we should go to Roswell...?"  His reply:

"....Historical Fact...they captured a flying saucer...a press release...2 would be...years there after no matter what...eye witness were still discussing this...3rd would be the deathbed declarations...4th would certainly be flight records, cryptology records...all the records of summer 1947 have been destroyed..."

I leave you with MIKE GRAVEL's closing remarks:

"...This is very important...I've eluded to this earlier...the best effort we have to bring visibility...use your good offices...we could go to UNITED NATIONS...we could do it through BRAZILIAN or CANADIAN resolution...we would have the most awe inspiring event!..."

STANTON FRIEDMAN voice was beginning to show some wear as he struggled through his friendly introduction of DONALD R. SCHMITT; the 7 o'clock first slotted evening presentation.  
LINDA MOULTON HOWE presented in the next time slot, and was gracious enough to offer to stick around for the last five minutes of her time and answer any questions from the floor.

 PETER DAVENPORT, showed his true passion for his work by presenting a plethora of sighting cases, even going over his allotted time to ensure he'd covered all the cases he felt were important to share. 

It's been a long day for me, I hope you are enjoying the coverage I am offering.  Tomorrow's talks will be focusing on the global UFO phenomena, which will prove to be very interesting I'm sure.

Witness Testimony Oath:

"I DO HEREBY AFFIRM, I WILL TELL THE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH TO THIS COMMITTEE TODAY."

First to present their testimony was DONALD R. SCHMITT , a true advocate for the rights of the families whose lives have been affected by this event.  He shared:

"...recovered a crashed space craft...would any of us having any difficulty recognizing materials such as plastic, wood, metal?...paper-thin metal-like material that you could not destroy with any conventional means...flows on your hand like water..."

"...To think we now have four official versions of this event!...sworn affidavits...sworn death-bed testimonies...death-beds are admissible...there should be no discrimination.  Just because we don't like the testimony...there still remains questions."

In his closing remarks, DONALD R. SCHMITT quoted a line from the SHAKESPEARE play "HAMLET":

"There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than in your dreams."

Next to speak, was no stranger to THE CITIZEN HEARING proceedings, STANTON FRIEDMAN .  He presented his case giving a run-down on the sequence of events that led him to his key witnesses, and the happenings thereafter.  (The live feed dropped several times during MR. FRIEDMAN's testimony, I apologize I can't give you more than this.)

LT. COL. KEVIN RANDLE presented his findings from his tireless research trying to uncover the truth of the Roswell UFO crash.  Here are some highlights:

"...a wood so tough he couldn't get a sliver off...bolt cutters...'I can't talk about it, I promised the President I wouldn't talk about it'...'It seems it was something that came on Earth, but not from Earth'..."

an interesting point raised:

"...Everything has to be paid for by the Military, and everything has to be recorded...the flight (with the recovered debris) is paid out of the training budget..."

It was a delight hearing first hand what DR. JESSE MARCEL, JR. experienced as an 11yr old boy, and then subsequently after the initial event.  His son and daughter were seated to his right, JESSE MARCEL, III and DENICE MARCEL.  They both presented compelling testimonies to the character of both their father, DR. JESSE MARCEL, JR., and their grandfather, JESSE MARCEL, SR..

"...I am the son of JESSE MARCEL, SR....my dad's credentials are very impressive...Radar School is very important, he would have been very familiar...my dad was the Intelligence Officer...it was their job to ascertain what it was out there, and bring it back...my dad said 'You'll never see something like this again.'...'look at this, I think this is the remains of a flying saucer'...three components...foil...if you folded it, it refolded...black plastic, like a broken record...at any rate, that's where the cover up happened.  In GENERAL RAMEY's office..."

"...it has had a great impact on our lives...hypnosis session...successful...he motioned grabbing the beam, looking at the glyphs...why did they have to be silent about a weather balloon?...my grandfather and father were both dedicated military men...It has affected my family in so many ways...respect and recognition they deserve." DENICE MARCEL

MERRILL COOK was moved by all of the MARCELs's testimonies:

"I'm very impressed...everything you said speaks for itself...everything you said is honest...I agree with you, they should open the files..."

DR. JESSE MARCEL, JR. recounts the mysterious events surrounding a visit to the Capital Building where he was taken into a basement meeting room:

"...secure room...in the basement...beautiful room...with pictures of founding fathers...a book was there...'this is not fiction'...first time someone in the inner sanctums admitted...'there's a black government, they have control of the debris, and they answer to no one'..."

Conversation about the debris, and what may have happened to it:

"...Probably got sent to Wright Field...security curtain got slammed down quickly." STANTON FRIEDMAN

"How quickly?" LYNN WOOLSEY

"Five hours!..." LT. COL. KEVIN RANDLE

CAROLYN KILPATRICK asks, "Where do go from here, why of it...?"
DR. JESSE MARCEL, JR. replies, "It tells us we are not alone.  There are other civilizations out there..."
ROSCOE BARTLETT:  "Did your father mention seeing bodies?"
DR. JESSE MARCEL, JR. answers, "He knew people who did..."

I end the first half of the afternoon session with DR. JESSE MARCEL, JR.'s personal statement:

"...It was a very EARTH, SPACE awakening experience for me..."

Witness Testimony Oath:

"I DO HEREBY AFFIRM, I WILL TELL THE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH TO THIS COMMITTEE TODAY."

DR. ROBERT (BOB) WOOD started off the morning's second half of testimony:

"...Public Relations...Mr. Carter, knowledgeable and helpful...based on the content...say it is fake...if you look at the 'z's' on the font...this is unusual...one (typewriter) here and one in the basement of the Pentagon...authentically printed for some reason in 1954..."

In closing he added:

"...conclusion I've come to is incredibly wild!...until we can quantify the Alien threat...I think the American people deserve the most of it, we paid for it!"

LINDA MOULTON HOWE followed with her presentation describing:

"...this manual (EXTRATERRESTRIAL ENTITIES AND TECHNOLOGY. RECOVERY AND DISPOSAL)*: '...prepared especially for the Operation Majestic 12...covert operation to be carried out in concert with Central Intelligence to effect the recovery for the United States of extraterrestrial technology and entities which may come down inside the territory of or fall into the possession of foreign powers.'...if it was printed in 1954, it was written before 1954..."

there's more:

"...Extraterrestrial Biological Entities (EBEs) are described as...'Type I: humanoid and might be mistaken for human beings of the Oriental race if seen from a distance...(it seems certain that they did not evolve on earth...may have originated on two different planets)'."

and the crafts:

"...'Elliptical, or disc shape. This type of craft is of a metallic construction and dull aluminum in color...The dome may or may not include windows or ports...generally no visible antenna or projections... Landing gear supports the main body 2 - 3 feet above the surface'..."

Seated to the right of LINDA M. HOWE was MR. STANTON FRIEDMAN who then took the floor:

"It's a privilege to be here, representing both countries. (US, and CANADA)...many misconceptions about documents...the clearance wasn't the problem, it's the need to know clearance...awful lot of documents that haven't been scanned...PHILIP KLASS...go-to man for someone looking for a debunker...offered a $100 each for authentic documents...he'd never been to the Eisenhower Library ...14 documents...he paid me...he got very upset when I printed his cheque in one of my books...when a perfectly genuine document might have a false claim in it...a lot of people who got this memo didn't have the need to know, so that's why they to lie..."

GRANT CAMERON finished off the testimonies with his address:

"It has been an honor to testify before this committee...Rockefeller ...1000 pages of documents...have gone missing...I intend to send them back to the library...Canadians...playing the same games of the Americans...they're just releasing their sighting files...PROJECT MAGNET...at no time should this be made available to public...the originals have been attached and should not be destroyed until such time as the UFO topic has cooled off..."

MERRIL COOK kicked off the question and answer period:

"...DR. WOOD,...you're obviously an intelligent person...no question...these are authentic!"

"My son's website www.magesticdocuments.com shows all those documents." DR. ROBERT WOOD

"...I wanna know the truth!...We wouldn't have these documents without the four of you sitting here today...it does not prove...we're collecting...extraterrestrial material at the time...first source evidence of ET..." MERRIL COOK

"...Wilbur Smith...dying of cancer...he said the US has tons of it...it is in Official not Air Force hands...he did see a flying saucer and the beings outside of Washington, D.C." GRANT CAMERON

DARLENE HOOLEY asked what other countries do regarding UFOs?:

"...pass it on to the O.S....wanna figure how it works?...what if an announcement were to be made...what would happen?  Are we ready to deal with...distinct religious problem...work of the Devil...they're more advanced than we are...airplane being destroyed by aliens chasing their aircraft...bad things happen to people we don't want you to hear about that...it's a Whole New World...everything CHANGES!..."  STANTON FRIEDMAN

A recurring concern for CAROLYN KILPATRICK :

"...I want my grandchildren to have a world beyond the next 30, 40 years...we got some work to do!"

GRANT CAMERON replies, "...they have a different opinion of what is good for our children..."
CAROLYN KILPATRICK: "...we're going to get together on the how to...I don't want to give up, it's too critical!...we still have a lot of work to do."

LYNN WOOLSEY gave some very important advice in hopes of moving forward full disclosure:

"...a bit of a nudge...goal...is to bring the congress into this discussion...it's not going to be like this...all this open discussion, dialogue...is not going to happen.  You would get 5 minutes!...questions and answers...5 minutes to give their opinion, question...so important when you come...arrogant members of congress...find a way to talk to them, to bring them into the fold...there has to be a way to bring them into the conversation...office visits...start talking to staff!...about what you want...without the sense that Congress is failing you...it will do us no good to get through this amazing week without being able to bring them into the fold...sitting members...that have to be convinced...you have to know you're going to get a snapshot time..."

 ROSCOE BARTLETT asked how many high ranking documents are available and these are the replies:

"...very few...released by accident...they're going to go to the grave protecting this..." GRANT CAMERON

ROSCOE BARTLETT continues:

"How we might get this out of the shadow of the lunatic fringe...authenticity of documents...in a court, and a question of the authenticity of a document...who would that be?...who that honest broker would be...a vehicle that would be agreeable...for the general public...entity to get this in the public domain...if we can do this we can get this out of the lunatic fringe..."

A very interesting concept for a solution to the disclosure issue is proposed by the acting CHAIR,  MIKE GRAVEL:

"...What is the next step...not Congress...a GREAT  first step...INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE...hopefully under the auspice of the UNITED NATION...get it through the General Assembly...a body within South America that have an interest in this...not a hearing like this...video stream in all the languages...I think this should be the next step...I have lost faith in true representation from government...you have to have power to make changes...the answer is with the people."

On that optimistic point everyone broke for lunch.  I can only imagine what the conversations were like over the lunch tables after MIKE GRAVEL's inspirational idea.

JOHN VENTRE and ROGER LEIR were present in the audience this morning.

TOP SECRET DOCUMENTATION

PETER DAVENPORT , Director of the 'NATIONAL UFO REPORTING CENTER' opening remarks:

"...The question of whether human beings are alone in the world today is one of the most important questions...It changed my life, and what I thought my reality would be..."

He continues with several cases, including the 1936 event involving two teenage boys on their way to Anchorage, Alaska, and the well-known Phoenix Lights event to name a few.  He ends with the most recent, disturbing sightings where his organization has amassed upwards of 3000 sightings all involving in excess of 150 clusters of lights at one time.  PETER DAVENPORT suspects, "...we may have rounded the corner...".

MR. PETER ROBBINS spoke next about his credentials as a "...self-trained UFO Researcher...", and the numerous works he's had published such as "LEFT AT EAST GATE" .  He spoke of the effect his research work has had on his personal life, and also how his co-author, of the above mentioned book has his passport privileges revoked, and the process involved to get it reinstated. He ended his statement with accolades to both SGT. JOHN BURROUGHS and SGT. JAMES PENNISTON , and the thanked everyone for the privilege to be able to participate in the hearing:

"...I applaud John and James for bringing the truth out in all of this...thank you for the privilege of appearing before you."

GARY HELSELTINE, retired Police Detective from the UK, proved to be a bit of a bull in a china cabinet.  Not to discredit what he was nobly trying to accomplish today, but his constant interruptions, and arrogant assumption that he could instruct the panel on what they should be asking about, proved to be quite alienating and tiresome.  He is launching a new magazine, in which PETER ROBBINS mentioned he will be a contributing writer; "UFO TRUTH MAGAZINE". His main focus was on how to mainstream the acceptance of police eye-witness accounts both within their own professional organizations and within the media.

"...They are seeing actual structured craft...accept this collective testimonies as genuine..."

GARY HELSETINE's closing remark:

"...I am deeply honored to be here today...this is HISTORIC...you will be congratulated in time for your cooperation."

LINDA MOULTON HOWE was the final expert to present. She described her extensive experience as a producer of many documentaries, a hundred live televised programs, her EARTHFILES website work, and the 4 books she has authored.  Ofcourse, it's no surprise Linda then began speaking about Animal Mutilations, a subject she has studied for most of her career:

"...around the world...Adelaide Hills...4 cows with holes drilled in their skulls and their brains were removed....Australia (South)....By 2013, every state in the United States and every province in Canada have reported animal mutilations...what is the surgical instrument?...the surgical procedures took place...less than 2 minutes...local Canadian media were told there by local police that it was satanic rituals...the truth was too difficult to report publicly...the truth is, law enforcements have long known..."

She finished off her testimony with this sad statement:

"...We are on a planet where humans are more afraid of humans and their ridicule than aliens from outer space!..."

ROSCOE G. BARTLETT brought a bit of humor into the room afterwards with this bit:

"...3 degrees of liars...liars, damned liars, and a statistician."

It was well received with chuckles throughout the room.  He then continued with his statement that kicked off the question and answer period:

"...What are they?!...This is REAL, not something you can argue away.  I believe in UFOS, I'm not quite there on ETs...there is a real opportunity for some interesting stories...the press doesn't have to buy in...simply report what's out there...if someone sights something, someone sights something, why not report it?!...the Phenomena is real!...there are 1000s of sightings...WHO has been successful in telling the press these are not important?  This is a free press!..."

Some of the responses to the questions put forth to the experts:

"...We no longer have the luxury of disbelief...I tend to shy away from colleagues who say they know...66 years of Western Journalism...and you're wired to think...'gee, I did not know he was mystical...or that he wants to be on Oprah'...I read every article the New York Times...98% of the New York Times coverage...was Sarcastic, condescending, ridiculing...often unnamed, contentious experts...breathtaking is their ignorance." PETER ROBBINS

"...the disconnect between the current world population...the gap is so great that to address...is so difficult...they feel this is a subject that cannot be presented...it is difficult to change what has always been known..." LINDA MOULTON HOWE

CAROLYN KILPATRICK made both a remark and then asked:

"...This is the first day of the rest of our lives!...I commend you for your testimonies... What is the position of the British government?..."

PETER DAVENPORT replied:

"...Britain follows general lead of America...majority of papers being released is low grade..."

CAROLYN KILPATRICK showed no fear supporting the need for disclosure and of her intentions:

"...I'm in the Action Phase.  You came here to ask us to do something, but we gotta learn...we've all taken a lot of flack and I'm proud of it..."

GARY HESELTINE suggested there needed to be a Congressional Hearing, a solution that was not supported by the Congress Men and Women.

MERRIL COOK often expressed frustration while pressing for the proof during questioning, and not a personal belief.  He was careful to extend great respect that the panel before him had dedicated countless hours of personal time in research and he was not trying to discredit anyone.  PETER DAVENPORT conceded that his personal belief, based on his research, had led him to conclude the explanation was ET based:

"...I am a scientist...good solid, hard evidence...I would categorize it not so much of a leap, but a step...craft that can hover for 5 minutes...crafts that can take off so fast that the human eye can't follow it's path..."

My impression of this morning session was that there was a lot of ego in the room, everyone often so busy batting statistics around, that they were missing the core essence of the questions presented to them.  

Linda seemed to have a hard time understanding what exactly the panel was attempting to learn from her.  In her mind, she has the proof, but in the public's mind that is her speculation.  Where are the "Alien Laboratories" in action performing these DNA experiments?  The type of evidence this panel is seeking, is something concrete they can take back to their peers.  The photos prove there are extraordinary, unexplainable atrocities being perpetrated on these animals, but they do not offer the definitive explanation as to why.  I am huge fan of LINDA MOULTON HOWE and this observation in no way is meant as a personal attack.  

Although GARY HESELTINE's presentation had me in full support of his position, with his animated passion and conviction, I was really put off with his mannerism that followed during the hearing.  He showed lack of decorum and respect for the Congressmen and Congresswomen, interrupting several times while they were speaking.  Unfortunately, I don't think he was a good ambassador as he put off many of the very people we were trying to build a bridge to.  My comments are not meant to discredit the importance of what he is in support of, as I agree with his cause.  The manner in which you delivery your story, however, is equally important. 

 

CITIZEN HEARING, Day 2, Afternoon Session

APRIL 30th, 2013

NUCLEAR WEAPONS TAMPERING

(These blog entries are built in order to share with you some of what I managed to make note of, while watching the live feed.  I've transcribed from notes as accurately as possible, and apologize in advance if I've made any errors.  I hope you will enjoy and accept this in the manner that which I give it to you; in a spirit of sharing and kindness.) O   A   T   H      T  A  K  E  N

STEPHEN BASSETT addressed both the audience, and panel before the afternoon session began with this grave statement:

"Of the 30hrs taking place this week...this is the most important 3hrs...the issues they are speaking to...this is CRITICAL information, please pay close attention."

CAPTAIN ROBERT SALAS presented a brief account of the events surrounding the Malmstrom AFB UFO/Missile Incident back in March, 1967.

DAVID D. SHINDELE presented a brief testimony of a missile incident he was involved with at the Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota.  This was his very first time, after 40yrs of silence,  making a public statement and he expressed "...great trepidation..." about speaking out.

Next, SGT. DAVID C. SCOTT, was the 2nd witness to publicly speak of his experience for the very first time. He spoke of how the Canadian Military near Winnipeg, Canada  scrambled fighter planes to chase UFOs.

CAPTAIN BRUCE FENSTERMACHER followed with his account of missile tampering at the Warren Air Force Base back in 1976.  He and a colleague were 60' underground behind a 8 tonnes door while the UFO incident occurred above ground.

RICHARD DOLAN was the final presenter in this session where he regaled the panel with dates, FBI documents, and facts of interest.  He ended with his opinion of how "...they contributed to a state within a state...".

ROSCOE G. BARTLETT kicked off the question period, evidently moved by the testimonies presented to him, with a chilling question/statement:

"What else would the government do for my good?"

RICHARD DOLAN:  "...a large portion of these objects are not ours..."

CAPTAIN ROBERT SALAS:  "...PROJECT BLUE BOOK had 2 sets of files...Classified Blue Book Files...Dr. Craig...Chief Investigator...given names, dates...CONDON investigators never followed up on it...because it was CLASSIFIED."

RICHARD DOLAN:  "....complete nightmare for 'them' to deal with..."

LYNN WOOLSEY ended the first half of the afternoon session with a heartfelt, thought provoking statement:

"...I am getting really uncomfortable about the position you were in...a sitting member would risk losing an election...I think this week...is gonna change the feeling and respect that the ...regular member of our country...they are going to have a different respect for it...and be able to say 'it'..."

 B   R   E   A   K

The gracious, excellent Chair, CAROLYN KILPATRICK, for the CITIZEN HEARING, opened up discussion with her query:

"Why do you believe today, and 30, 40 years ago has the army suppressed...Is there something we ought to know?"

CAPTAIN ROBERT SALAS: "These objects know in great detail how our missiles operate...if you release that to the public..."
SGT. DAVID C. SCOTT suggested: "Military and local police... to be able to give an honest report... the more information we gather the better..."

ROSCOE G. BARTLETT shocked the audience when he brought up a defamatory editorial about the CITIZEN HEARING and it's panel members:

"...We're an 'Alien Panel'...being payed $20,000...that's just insulting that we can be bought!...I believe there are sightings out there that can't be easily explained away...I'm just insulted that the press does this!...'Just say it often enough, no matter how big the lie, people will believe it'...The audacity, and ignorance infuriates me...there has to be an accountability does there not?!"

This incited several of the panel members to inquire as to who authored such a defamatory article, which also went as far as question their professionalism and careers.

Next LYNN WOOLSEY made the interesting comment:

"We have a big questions...are we doing this because we're going to arm Space?...We don't want to do that...this is a sneaky way...the 'visitors' have shown us what they can do...probably not violent because if they did what they're capable of, they would be eating us!...Our World has some work to do..."

I really appreciated MIKE GRAVEL sharing this little nugget of information regarding the cost of armament, and then ended his statement with a sad question about the American public: 

"...It's more expensive to build the shield than the spear..."  and  "...We can educate the public, but does the public have the power?"

CAPTAIN ROBERT SALAS explained to DARLENE HOOLEY why in his opinion these 'visitors' are shutting off the missiles:

"...They are not Weapons of War, they are Weapons of MASS DESTRUCTION."

MERRIL COOK: "...46 years ago.  Why aren't they releasing these documents now?..."
CAPTAIN ROBERT SALAS: "It's about power and greed and not about public safety...this is such a complex thing..."
MERRIL COOK:  "This 'Truth Embargo' indeed, needs to come down!"

I leave you with MIKE GRAVEL's startling statement before this afternoon sessions were ended:

"...I.C.B.M. in Alaska about?...One submarine can hold any, ANY, people hostage...United States had a satellite...we shot it down to show we have capabilities to shoot it out of space...we're all dependent on satellites!...think of the insanity...you can be suspicious of what we don't know, but what we do know is FRIGHTENING!"

A  D  J  O  U  R  N  E  D

It was announced that PETER ROBBINS has been added to the list of presenters tomorrow morning.  An open invitation was extended to any military or gov't witnesses who would like the opportunity to testify before the panel,  on either Thursday or Friday.  Subject to a screening by STEPHEN BASSETT.

There will be a professional documentary made from the CITIZEN HEARING, it will be titled "TRUTH EMBARGO".

Tonight on the live feed, we have been treated to STANTON FRIEDMAN's presentation titled "FLYING SAUCERS AND SCIENCE" where he early on makes the quip "...Don't bother me with the facts, my mind is already made up" in reference to skeptics.

My Canadian friend GRANT CAMERON graciously extended encouragement and accolades to STEPHEN BASSETT prior to his presentation:

"Keep swinging the bat Steve, you'll get a home run some day!"

RICHARD DOLAN is ending this evenings presentations with threats his lecture could go well into the wee hours tonight.  So with that, I leave you to grab some late dinner and a glass of well deserved "Skinny Girl" Cranberry Cocktail.
